What to Expect at Your First Chiropractic Visit

Plan for an uninterrupted hour for your first visit with us. We will complete a detailed history plus orthopedic and neurological testing, so nothing feels rushed-we want to get to the bottom of your issue so that healing can happen.

Hands-on care may or may not happen on day one. If more discussion is needed, Dr. Racicot follows up at no extra charge. We don’t do routine imaging; when needed, we refer for X-rays and request prior reports. With your verbal consent, our team collaborates and may refer internally or to trusted partners in Barrie.

What to Wear, Forms, and Billing

Every new patient is guided step by step—no guesswork. Here’s how to prepare:

If your arm or leg will be assessed, wear or bring a short-sleeve T-shirt and shorts.
Acupuncture clients may at times remain clothed; shorts are fine.
Fees are discussed before your appointment. Direct insurance billing is available and you only pay any balance.

Our office has a calm, home-like vibe where families feel comfortable staying together. There’s a couch in the room so siblings can rest, read, or play quietly while a parent or baby is seen. Massage first visits are usually briefer, since many people expect most of their time to be hands-on.
